UCD Crowdfund to Help Threatened Scholars

UC Davis scholar, Pamir Hazem, shares the impact of Crowdfund UC Davis on his family's life. Fleeing to Pakistan and Rwanda after the Taliban invaded Afghanistan, Hazem was finally able to move to Davis thanks to the help of the Global Community Emergency Fund. UC Davis Releases First Global Strategic Plan

The University of California, Davis, released its first global strategic plan that creates a five-year global vision for the institution in support of the campus strategic plan, “To Boldly Go.”  This plan focuses on strategies and actions that the campus will undertake to strengthen and accelerate its global contributions.  

Statement on Comments Attributed to a Member of Faculty

I absolutely condemn the posts attributed to a UC Davis faculty member that recently appeared on the social media platform X. I find the comments revolting in every way, and I disagree wholeheartedly with them.

UC Davis rejects all forms of violence and discrimination, as they are antithetical to the values of our university. We strive to foster a climate of equity and justice built on mutual understanding and respect for all members of the community.
