Bio

Throughout his career over the past 25 years, Dr. Dosov has been tightly engaged in public as well as private and development sectors, which allowed him to work in managerial and leadership positions. He participated in developing and implementing national and international programs and strategies in agri-food systems.

He represented the Eurasian region at High Level Panel of Experts of the Committee on World Food Security (CFS) and co-authored CFS report on Sustainable Agricultural Development for Food Security & Nutrition: Role of Livestock in 2015-2016.

Dr. Dosov was the Key-note Speaker at the 39th Session of European Commission for Agriculture (ECA in 2015). He is the founder and spokesman of the Central Asia & Caucasus Forum for Rural Advisory Services, since 2018.

Under his close coordination National Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation System (NAKIS) was developed in Uzbekistan, which was successfully launched in March, 2021. Since 2022, Dr. Dosov is leading the process of developing the National Agricultural Research Program, in Uzbekistan.

His incredible experience in facilitating 12 international conferences & workshops, and attending more than 28 countries, let him become very flexible for very diverse working environment, being a real Cross-Cultural Agri-Food Systems Communicator & Programmer. Since 2011, he accomplished 14 international consultancies with International Organizations: FAO, CGIAR/ICARDA, SDC, GFAR/ CACAARI, GFRAS, CTA, CFS; and 9 national consultancies with International Organizations: FAO, GIZ, JICA, UNDP, World Bank, Asian Development Bank, UNESCO, EU. He was involved in independent evaluation activities of more than 25 projects of the FAO in Central Asia.

Since 2011, he has been engaged to Central Asia and the Caucasus Association of Agricultural Research Institutions (CACAARI) as Technical Advisor / Programme Coordinator; and from 2022, as a Chief Executive Officer (CEO), CACAARI.

Since 2019 to present, he has been acting as a Board Member Global Forum for Rural Advisory Services (GFRAS); since 2018-present, Vice-Chair of Asia - Pacific Islands Rural Advisory Services Network (APIRAS) and Chair of Central Asia and the Caucasus Forum for Rural Advisory Services (CAC-FRAS), 2022-present, member of Global Forum for Agricultural Research (GFAR) Steering Committee and High Level Advisory Panel to One CGIAR.
