Mr. Melo holds a degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in Solid Waste Management and Work Safety Engineering, from Federal University of Goias (UFG). He is currently studying Environmental Engineering in the Master’s program at the School of Civil Engineering at UFG. Mr. Melo has been in his current position since 2010, and is responsible for the operation of the sanitary landfill of Goiania County and also serves as a technical advisor for the Board of Directors of Solid Waste at COMURG. Additionally, this year he taught courses in Waste Minimization, Specialization in Treatment and Final Disposal of Wastewater and Solid Waste at UFG.
