Bio

Dr. Das received her Doctorate in the field of International Relations in 2003, from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India, specializing in marine affairs. Dr. Das has been associated with World Wildlife Fund, India since 2003 as Coordinator of the Marine programme. Her work over the past four years has focused on conservation through program and policy initiatives. As a Humphrey Fellow, Dr. Das is interested in enhancing her knowledge and professional skills in the field of natural resources management. She wants to learn more about coastal and marine biodiversity, as well as conservation tools and techniques.
